The first concert he ever attended was The Beatles at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto on August 17, 1966. Content for this series draws from many sources, from books to recordings to interviews. The song was beamed into deep space by NASA earlier this week as part of that organization's 50th anniversary celebrations. Between these two versions of the song we look at some of the other Beatles historical moments, including their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964.
