Pleasant surprise last night on Progroots. Instead of two hours of some vinyl found in the trunk of a junked '62 Corvair, we got to hear two new bands - The Sofa Lords and Wheatstone Bridge.
Hey, that '62 Corvair might be worth some nice bucks today!
Anyway, we've just confirmed that the Sofa Lords are available to join us this coming Sunday (November 23rd) for a CD listening party. We'll listen to the entire album, and they'll be on the air live via telephone and in chat. So if you liked the preview tracks I played, drop in on Sunday for the full meal deal!
Also, one lucky listener will win a free copy of the CD signed by the band.

Well, we had a lot of fun listening to the Sofa Lords CD and talking with the guys. So much that we forgot to give away the signed CD!! Doh!! I'll get in touch with them and see if we can do it next week. Rene

That was a fun show last night, Rene. Going head to head with the NM show prolly wasn't the best timing, but not all of us were fortunate enough to get out to CA for that.
I emailed Chris B and he's going to get the whole band to sign the cd I'm buying. You can take me out of the running for the give-away.
