"Guilty Pleasures" 4-Part Series Starts!
« on: December 01, 2003, 08:18:00 am »

Do you remember what was happening on January 7th of this year? How about April 2nd? Tonight on "Guilty Pleasures" I will begin my 4-part series that highlights the interesting interviews, performances and guests that appeared on this years show.

We will start with the Alan Morse interview from Lawnmower & Garden Studios conducted in January. Also, clips from the studio with the early version of 'East Of Eden, West Of Memphis'.

We then take a look at the world of recording artist Yogi. Yogi offers an insight into many topics within the music industry and even Mike Keneally jumps in on the interview and takes the reigns. Some great humor and thoughts on many subjects. I will also air a couple of working demos that Yogi brought to Studio Gruno!

Some people never were able to hear the Spock's Beard World Premiere for Feel Euphoria on June 2nd. Tonight I will revisit that eventful night with in-studio performances and interview segments from that night.

Some new bands that made it to "Guilty Pleasures" were HAITZ and also Powder. In April, HAITZ came into Studio Gruno and performed 4 songs live on the air. A great interview with lead singer and lead guitarist Richard Haitz was conducted.

I ventured out to the filming of Powder's new dvd that occurred this past year. After the performance I sat down with the entire group and we completed an in-depth interview. I will also take you back to that night to let you hear some exclusive live tracks from that night!

Bryan Beller called in to Studio Gruno for a memorable time to talk about his cd, View . Bryan was following along in chat while doing the interview and you can hear his interaction of that. Bryan was a great interview and his cd is fantastic! Come along for the ride as Bryan talks about his cd and the guests who helped on his cd!

We also have some new music to premiere tonight from some interesting artists.

It was a great year for new music, wonderful interviews and memorable in-studio live music...

Join us tonight, starting at 7pm Pacific time on:

...due to "certain circumstances", I have had to halt parts 3 & 4 of this series. Thanks to everyone who came by and supported.

What are these "certain circumstances"? Is that maclanguage for your machine croaked yet again? hahaha

Hope it can get squared away soon. There were still some cool inhouse performances to get to I know.
