What was your last CD purchase?
« on: January 15, 2004, 12:22:53 pm »

I'm always looking for new musical ideas, so I thought I'd ask DJ's and listeners alike, what was the last CD you bought?

For me, it was Testimony by Neal Morse and I was admittedly late in picking it up. Other than that it was the Rhino expanded & remastered version of Relayer by Yes.

As mentioned in another thread, i'm on a fusion thing, so I just bought Simon Phillips - Out Of The Blue.

I also just found a website that is going to punish my Visa card.    www.guitar9.com  It's heaven on a stick for me.

'The Epic Quality of Life'
by Shaun Guerin ; Shaun was the lead singer and second drummer for the Genesis tribute band 'Cinema Show' until his sudden death last July at 41.
Shaun voice sounded alot like Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins also at times. Being a old Genesis fan, I really enjoyed this new release alot. Read more about Shaun and his cd at  www.shaunguerin.com

As I was listening to it I definitely picked up the Genesis vibes more than anything else.  Didin't know he waqs in a tribute band.  Makes perfect sense!

Just bought "The Tanget" yesterday. Most of the music's really good, but I'm not a big fan of R.Stolt's voice. Have to listen to it a few more times first.

Rene, please tell me what you think of Little Atlas.
It's my favorite album of 2003. Just loving their sound.
