Treated my self yesterday, since it was my birthday, to a trip to Rolling Stone Music (used to be Records, Music sounds weird):
For $7.99 -
Re-releases of Relayer, Going For The One, Tormato, and Drama by Yes; Head, The Birds The Bees And The Monkees, and Pisces Aquarius Capricorn & Jones by The Monkees; Infinity by Journey
and for $5.99, that ol' 8 Track essential...
Hair Of The Dog by Nazareth
Topped the evening off with deep dish pizza at Geno's East, doesn't get any better!
Sufjan Stevens, Greetings from Michigan, the Great Lake State.
Never heard of him before, picked it up by sheer conicidence. WOW! It's a piece of art. I recommend it to anyone who likes quiet, nerve-tickling stuff that's different from most anything else.
Damien Rice -O (Bought it for a Gift) Gary Jules - Nice Version of Mad World Flaming Lips -(1999 cd cant remember the name) REM - Reckoning (Ironically it was also the first cd I ever bought but I noticed I don't have it any more)
