Delp and Goudreau - self titled
hey...the Boston boys eh?  Does it sound anything like Boston?

Actually Rene, yes, there are some very Bostonesque moments on the cd.  I am pleasantly surprised at how much I am enjoying it actually.

As far as yet more new discs...just received a couple from Fish "Field of Crows" and "Mixed Company - Live in Holland 2002".

Still haven't found Terria Shawn...but, all in good time.

Treated my self yesterday, since it was my birthday, to a trip to Rolling Stone Music (used to be Records, Music sounds weird):

For $7.99 -

Re-releases of Relayer, Going For The One, Tormato, and Drama by Yes;
Head, The Birds The Bees And The Monkees, and Pisces Aquarius Capricorn & Jones by The Monkees;
Infinity by Journey

and for $5.99, that ol' 8 Track essential...

Hair Of The Dog by Nazareth

Topped the evening off with deep dish pizza at Geno's East, doesn't get any better!

Sufjan Stevens, Greetings from Michigan, the Great Lake State.

Never heard of him before, picked it up by sheer conicidence. WOW! It's a piece of art. I recommend it to anyone who likes quiet, nerve-tickling stuff that's different from most anything else.

Bought it from Steve, the band's lead singer/keyboardist at the show last night. Great guy!

I picked up "Freaks of Nature" by Kansas on ebay for a dollar.

Now I can replace the cassette I got at a gas station for $1.99.

Great tunes at a great price.

By some mistake, amazon.de sold maaany CDs for 6,99 Euro each a few days ago. I was lucky to see that and ordered 15 CDs. Here's what I got so far:

Marillion: Afraid of Sunlight (2-CD, remastered)
Everon: Paradoxes
Symphony X: The Odyssey (ltd. edition)
No-Man: Together We're Stranger
Willy Astor: The Sound of Islands Vol. 3
Magnitude 9: Decoding the Soul
Tiles: Tiles (special edition)
Proto-Kaw: Before Came After (special edition)

Still to arrive:

John Wesley: The Emperor Falls
Everon: Venus
Fish:  Sunsets on Empire
RWPL: Stock (2-CD)
Porcupine Tree: Stars Die (2-CD)
Porcupine Tree: Coma Divine - Live in Rome (2-CD)
Porcupine Tree: The Sky Moves Sideways (2-CD)

A few days ago, I got (normal price):

IZZ: Sliver Of A Sun
Chain: Reconstruct
Tiles: Fence The Clear (remastered)
Cryptic Vision: Moments Of Clarity
Salem Hill: Be
Dead Air Radio: Strange Frequencies

Have I told you that I'm jobless?  Grin

Sorry to hear that, Ich bin Besser. I hope you really are besser now.  Wink

anyway, I bought 10 CD's yesterday, most of them DLBN's fault!!

anyway:

Porcupine Tree - In Absentia
Spock's Beard - Beware of Darkness
Meatloaf - Bat out of Hell 2
Peter Gabriel - OVO
Steve Hackett - Spectral Mornings
David Gilmour - David Gilmour

and 4 blues CD's that were just like 10 bucks for all 4! 80 blues songs for 10 bucks?? Oh mama!!!!

Anyway, don't know when I'll listen to them cos I'm still listening to DLBN 24/7!  Grin
