Niacin Keyboardist John Novello Co-Hosting PJ's Matinee

This Saturday night (Jan. 31) at 7:00pm PST, keyboard virtuoso John Novello will be live in-studio to co-host the Matinee with me.

If you are unfamiliar with John's work, he plays the Hammond B3 in a group with Billy Sheehan and Dennis Chambers called Niacin. But his credits also include working with such artists as: Mark Isham, Chick Corea, Andy Summers, Edgar Winter, Glenn Hughes, Manhattan Transfer, Mr. Big, Ramsey Lewis, Donna Summer, A Taste Of Honey, Ritchie Cole, and Howard Roberts. I caught the show on the archive.  I really enjoyed hearing from and learning about Mr. Novello. Cool!
What was the name of the female vocalist that sang Purple Haze?  Any chance of getting a copy of that track--I have a buddy that would love it.

BTW, the Sadam interview was choice!

Her name is simply "Carmel" and her album is not yet released. Unfortunately he did not leave me anything from it. I will ask him to give me a copy of that song.
