Sounds like you've got some serious troubles with your system as Gruno suggests. You should upgrade to windows XP.. these sorts of problems never happen.
Listening to a CD with RealPlayer works fine. It probably is a problem with the settings. I have several media players, but I'm sure that I set RealPlayer correctly for playing the media types which are required for the archives.

My guess is that it probably wouldn't do much good. From the sounds of that error message it sounds like it is something more deep seeded. Perhaps it's a corrupt DLL fil somewhere. XP!! XP!!
I de-installed RealPlayer 10 and installed RealPlayer 8. I got it to work (sometimes! ) by inserting the link (pnm://www.thedividingline.com/archives/btlarchive.rm) Shawn provided.
For the other archives, I just have to replace the "btl" in the link by the first letters of another show's name, right?
Oh, have to add something: just wanted to start Trillian and got the same error message as I described in my first post. Somebody from the A.C.T-chat gave me that link:
You don't get any of the evil driver problems with XP... well. not as many anyways. I installed XP over 2 years ago and have not had to reinstall since. It even survived my system hard drive's move over to a new system. I was very surprised it didn't die a death but it didn't!
