Doug told me to go ahead & post about this so here we go: Doug Ott, guitarist from Enchant to appear live on Critic's Carnival Friday the 26th beginning at 9pm Pacific Time! We'll be talking to Doug about the new album, the new record lable & the recent live show, among other things...Doug said he would pick some favorite tunes to talk about as well...It should be a fun time for all!
Where: www.thedividingline.com on "Critic's Carnival" When: Friday March 26, 9pm-Midnight Pacific Time Why: For the love o' prog
(DLBN regulars should post questions here so I know what to ask Doug during the breaks! lol)
Well done, Carny. I'm really psyched about this interview.
Also, I can join in live because no work this Friday night! Yeeeehaw!
You could ask him how much of the footage for the DVD he's seen and what he thinks of it. Also, you could ask if he knows what "extras" will be on the DVD (if any).

The Healing Colors of Sound & Epic Prog with The Lurker Friday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern ONLY on The Dividing Line www.thedividingline.com
Well it took a bit of persistance...I just hope that Doug will have enough fun this Friday that he will consider bringing Ted, Ed & all next time ;-) After all they will have a live CD & DVD to promote again later this year...!
I have always wondered if they ever heard the similarities between Pain The Picture and Rush's Xanadu... also between the verses of Paint The Picture and the intro and outro of RPWL's Waiting For A Smile.
I'll be making a list of the questions after I get home from work on Friday...so if there are any other people with specific questions then post 'em asap!
Thanks to Doug & all the DLBN'ers for such a great show...
Doug sure seemed like he was having fun, especialy since he stayed here until around 1am hanging in the chat room after the show was over!
Note: next week I'll be giving away a Doug-signed copy of "Blink of an Eye" during my show.
I've already asked him to come back soon & talk some more as he only scratched the surface of his Enchant stories. Luckily, my location makes it easy for Doug to visit...
Hopefully a few more DLBN'ers will join the Enchant forum (like PJ & Lurker already did )
