ROSFest and CalProgDay in the same year... boy would I love to be able to pull that off. I recently sold a bunch of company stock since I no longer work for them, depending on the windfall...you never know. It'd be great to meet my fellow DJ's! And see Neal and Enchant live!
I'm more than tempted, I can get someone to cover for me for 2 days. But if I do go it has to be worth it, cos I'd fly from Cancun just for that. Musically, of course I know it's worth it. But I mean I wanna get to meet y'all, and if possible be able to be inside from start to finish (stage building, soundcheck), you guy think that'll be at all possible?

I was just going to lurk..and then I saw Quentin! I have a lousy pc and haven't been able to listen to any of the shows online.. but I'm working on it!! So this is my first post, hi folks! If I can get online to buy the tickets, I'll be going, mainly for Enchant, but what a great lineup!
Hey Kristin, glad to see you found your way over here from the Enchant board (I'm IL Beardfan with a Neal avatar over there, one of Mare's buddies, but don't post very much). Quentin is awesome isn't he? Did you know the WB is re-making Dark Shadows, and it's supposed to be on the fall schedule? More info can be found here. I'm going through DS withdrawl since SciFi stopped showing it, and I was 18 episodes short of taping the entire series (1225 episodes, that's alot of videos!) Anyway, welcome to the board, and pop in on one of the shows if you get a chance, Enchant is a fav around here!
Thanks for the welcome, Joel! Mare's great--I really enjoyed meeting her at the Enchant gig! And, uh....thanks for the link to DS...I didn't realize they still had a following! A remake...I don't know...who can fill Quentin's clothes? I mean shoes?? Ahh...Quentin... uh...anyway... I've decided to go back to work Friday evening (where I have a decent pc) to try to listen to the broadcast--and perhaps join the chat. Maybe I'll just spend the night so I can be assured of buying Calprog tix too! My pc at home always cuts out at the crucial moments!
And Shawn--thanks for your welcome, too. Yes, between The Lurker and the Carnie-dude, I've been induced to visit and join. I met Eric at the Enchant gig, and he did a great job talking up the Dividing Line. I'm sweating the buying of the tickets just now...online ticket buying always makes me nervous.
And why am I a llama? I can't wear wool...and my dragon isn't too crazy about mammals other than me..
Likewise, Chris and I are IN! We'll all be taking over the Radisson Whittier it seems. Make the LA riots looks like child's play! Seriously, can't wait to meet up with fellow DLBNers, and the bands as well. ROSFEST and CalProgDay, I'll have to check into Betty Ford for Prog O.D.!
