Yeah, Active Worlds seems to be the front runner so far. You can visit the AW Gate and a limited number of other "worlds" without joining, but non-members are called tourists and they all have these boy-scout uniform type avatars. I signed up...$6.95 per month. I have been exploring to see what others have done and how much it costs.

Hey Rene , i joined up as a tourist took a look around ..  it seems very cool !  But i imagine it would use up a fair bit of my "allowed usage"  from my ISP .. which i can use to listen to DLBN instead .
