« on: April 08, 2004, 04:02:52 am »

I just saw this one at my local store, and was temptred to buy it, but it was so expensive I decided to check with you guys first.

Is it good? I'm sure it is cos I've seen someone play it, but what can I expect?

I guess I'll request some these days.

Thanks

It's pretty good! Also, gotta love the lead singer telling the audience to SHUT UP! Those wacky Hollandeers.  Cheesy

Duke,

Check HERE and see if he's got it, and if you can save some money, which, when dealing with Greg, is the case about 100% of the time.

If you like prog music, Greg Walker is your best friend. Right Jürgen? :-)

Of course, your other option would be to use the Amazon link through the home page. As a result of any purchase, as I'm sure you know, we get a small piece of the pie. The choice is yours. I'll say one thing about Greg though. I've never waited more than 2 days for an order to arrive, he's in Utah and I'm near Chicago.

Greg is mighty indeed. I live in Florida and always have my CDs two days after I order. And he often ships to me before I've even paid him. Once I emailed him to inquire as to whether he had the Porcupine Tree "Lightbulb Sun" CD in stock and he emailed me back saying he had just dropped it in the mail!  Grin At that point, I went to paypal and paid the man straightaway. He's fast, that guy.

Joel, I have to admit that I haven't ordered yet anything through Greg... I just read everywhere how great he is, so I recommend him for Americans.  Wink

I always try to avoid importing stuff - as there's always the problem of possible additional custom fees. Fortunately, most of the stuff I want is available through some German site.

Greg is from Utah?!?!  I could swear he is in the LA area.  But hey, what do I know.  I can agree with the others, if you are looking for prog, Greg Walker and Syn-phonic is a great place to peruse.
