Epic Prog - June 25, 2004

Hey guys!

We've got another big four-hour show coming your way today from 5-9 p.m. Pacific (8 p.m. to midnight Eastern) with plenty of epics and other cool stuff.

As it is the last Friday of the month, we'll once again welcome the "Epic Concepts" feature. Instead of a full length concept album, tonight I'll be playing the full 52-minute epic "The Ocean" by Galleon, which encompasses all of Disc 2 of the band's "From Land to Ocean" album. I'll be playing that around 5:30 p.m. Pacific (8:30 p.m. Eastern), in case any of our late-night listeners in Europe want to check it out.

And of course, there will be the Lurker's Spotlight, tonight featuring the music of RPWL. There are still some of you who are not familiar with this excellent German prog band, so tune in and give it a listen!

Also, we'll hear some stuff from IQ's new album, "Dark Matter," as well as a smattering of material from the artists who will perform at CalProg on July 3 in Whittier, California (Erik Norlander, IZZ, Enchant, Neal Morse and the Mike Keneally Band).

Hope to see you in chat!

Hmm, sweet.   Smiley This thing is still on my wishlist, so I'll definately check out the archives (guess no live show for me this time).
