Well, after watching Neal Morse's incredible Testimony DVD (which I picked up at CalProg), I want to give a shout out to the DLBN, who had three members immortalized. Papa Jim, Moondog and Gruno all appear on the tour documentary on Disc 2 of the DVD. PJ gets some serious air time and talks on camera, and Moonie and Gruno can clearly be seen in the background during the Whittier performance.
Congrats on making it to the video!

Hah! Thanks. It is fortuitous that the camera was running at that moment. What better way to end the tour than to run OVER capacity at the last show? I still feel that the Whittier show was much more emotional and Franks footage would've been a more moving presentation than the Tilburg show. With all the pro gizmos and lighting in Holland, and the overdubs that I'm 99% sure are there, it begins to feel antiseptic and staged to me, instead of the totally organic and moving experience that it really was.
I'm sorry, did I go off on a little rant there? It's a GREAT DVD by any measure. I am grateful to have played some part in that monumental tour, no matter how small.
I thought this dvd was absolutely incredible! I can't imagine what an incredible show this had to be live. I thought this dvd has really captured a few emotional moments. Testmony will be an alltime favorite of mine for many years to come!!!!!!
