We welcome you to browse the site, sign the messageboard, or post any feedback you like. I'm looking forward to spending time on this board, and would appreciate it if you have the time to check us out.
Pretty cool stuff. If you don't mind I'll throw some of your tracks into our automated 24/7 feed. They'll be in continuous rotation.
On a side note, it's great to see more prog bands with female lead vocals! (Magenta, Mostly Autumn etc) I think that the music is that much more powerful and passionate becaue of it.
Thanks very much Shawn! That'd be fine. We appreciate the exposure.
Anstrom is by far the best vocalist I've worked with. I get distracted sometimes during a show, she keeps surprising me. Plays a mean Theremin too, I think 'Harpoon' on our DL page features a good bit of that.
Thanks again. If anybody needs a promo pack I'll be glad to send them out. Glad to be a part of this interesting site!
You in Germany? We're hoping to come over to Italy early next summer, we're trying to set stuff up now. Got friends in France, Sweden, and London- may as well add Germany to the list!
PM me your address, I'd be glad to send you some Geschenke. Auf Wiedersehen!
Hi xush, i'll be giving your songs a listen soon. I understand where the band name comes from, but I can't help but think I also read it in the Karma Sutra, right next to Digital Missionary!
Okie dokie. Got the promo package (thanks again, very cool! ) and listened to it a few times. Here my impressions as I wrote them down while listening to the CD ("Transmitter") with headphones - and please remember that I'm neither a musician nor a good reviewer.
First song: Hey, that girl sounds a bit like Kate Bush! Great voice, fits the music nicely. Very atmospheric stuff. Second song: Starts quietly again. That transition to the faster part is great. Hmm, the ending sounds strange. Third song: Hey, another atmospheric midtempo song. Do I see a pattern? Hmm, I find myself not paying close attention. The songs sound very similar. Hey, song 7 sounds great! Seems to be my favorite song so far. Very nice. Oh, nothing new till the rest of the album.
So, here's my conclusion: I know that what I wrote above might give the impression that the CD is bad. No, it isn't! The CD has an overall beautiful atmosphere and a great sound. Love the singer's voice. This music is perfect for playing in the background when music does not need your full attention or even for relaxing. When I listened to the CD while surfing the net, I loved it more than when I listened to it with headphones. The songs sound great, but too similar for my taste. I need something more diverse. I got distracted after a while, but never thought of taking it out of the player.
So, my rating would be a 6/10. If xush tells me that the next release will be a bit more diverse, count me in as a buyer - no doubt! And if anyone needs a recommendation for some good "Progressive/Ambient/Art-Rock" (which I think is a good description, btw), here it is.

I appreciate the objective review. You raise some valid points. It is mostly mid-tempo material, and the 'ambient' factor is pretty high on this album. It was recorded over 2 years ago, and the sound has changed a lot, especially with constant gigging and the introduction of more uptempo tunes. Of the 5 or 6 songs we have ready for the new CD, the majority are much more of a 'rock' nature- faster tempos, shorter songs, a little more 'energy,' maybe...
We are just starting to record our live shows, I hope some of those will turn out- I think it gives a more realistic representation of the band at present. Also makes me REALLY want to get the new CD wrapped up!
Thanks again for checking us out. It's good to hear an honest opinion from other music lovers. Can't please everybody, I'm sure; but I'm all for finding areas to improve or at least diversify.
