1) First Live Show - My first three shows were really cool, possibly historic: - The Doors, Steppenwolf, and The Chambers Brothers at the Hollywood Bowl (available on DVD) - Three Dog Night at the Forum - Genesis at the Roxy (Selling England by the Pound)
2) Last Live Show - Neal Morse in Whittier
3) Favorite Top 3 Concerts
1 - Neal Morse in Whittier 2 - Shaming of the True @ ProgWest w/NDV and friends 3 - Genesis - Selling England Tour 4 - Peter Gabriel in Phoenix (1st row on the Secret World tour)
Aah, thatīs always been a dream of mine! Do you remember that gig?
Styx was my first favorite band and seeing that concept album on stage would have been soo cool. But no, I had to wait until 2001 until they finally decided to come back to Germany. Never seen them before.

1) What is the first live show you saw? 2) What is the last live show you saw? 3) What are three of your all-time favorite live performers?
1) I'll go with first show I worked(as a stagehand) since I didn't go to many at all before that...and it was Styx with Kansas opening in '96 2) Rush just a few weeks ago(I worked that show too) 3) Steve Vai-he looks you right in the eye and plays TO YOU for a few bars! The Who-simply incredible live! Rush and Dream Theater(tie)-seeing DT on SFAM tour(my first time seeing them) from the front row was extremely emotional for me, and Rush just puts on an AMAZING show!!!

If a piece of work was an honest expression of its maker, it was also a milestone of his progress... As much as the notion of "progressive" music has been mocked... it was really the only possible kind of honest music. -Neil Peart
1st Show: Journey 86 at Cap Center Landover, MD Last Show: Jadis at Rosfest 04 in PA
Favorites: 1) Enchant 04 Imusicast 2) IQ in Quebec City (1st Night) in 98 3) Marillion at HAMMERJACKS! in 92
Honorable 3: Echolyn in 93 in Bmore at Cafe Tatoo Camel 03 at Birchmere Enchant and Hackett at NF02
Regrets: Never seeing Genesis w/ Gabriel (not my fault due to my age) Never seeing SB w/ Neal (my fault because I was too lazy to drive from OC, MD)
Worst: 1) Iluvatar in 95 at Red Eye Saloon (Not because of Iluvatar, they were great. Earlier that day at the Fells Point Festival, I caught my girlfriend (just about to ask her to marry me) kissing another guy and ditching me right before the show ) 2) Numerous lame acts at the various Nearfests that all the Prog Snobs love, and I hate. Magma 3) Rolling Stones - what a freaking waste of $120 for those moldy money whores
Yea it was rough. She actually liked Iluvatar, Enchant, Pendragon and especially Marillion, and was suppose to go with me that night. Thankfully there are plenty other fish in the sea, and even though my current chick (my wife) doesnt like prog, at least she likes me.
