« on: November 18, 2004, 12:50:32 pm »

How many local bands do you know thats been around for almost a third of a century? I remember going to see them soon after I was old enough to drive. Next Weds. 11/24/04
They do it all again with their 30th anniversary show and    brand new cd release party too.          Read about it here:

The Squonk is of a very retiring disposition and due to its ugliness, weeps constantly. It is easy prey for hunters who simply follow a tear-stained trail. When cornered it will dissolve~itself into tears.                          True or False?

Fayrewether used to play in the club I DJ'ed in back in 83-84. Lots of Gabriel-era Genesis (costumes included), Jethro Tull, excellent original material... that was the ultimate job. Too bad I had to grow up ;-)

Frank, I left a note on the guestbook... if you talk to Paul, tell him you know me and that I send my greetings and congrats... and to get their asses back to the Chicago area ;-)

There were 2 DJs here way at the beginning the life of DLBN named Howie and Kelly Blecher.  They used to play Fayrewether all the time and proclaim their greatness.  I liked the few tracks by them I heard.  Maybe it's time to check them out again.
