Lurker, do you broadcast with Winamp?  I see that the tracks from your pirated show are showed up in Audioscrobbler.  Do they also show up when listening to other people's shows?  I always get messages stating that the plug-in could not read the song information when listening to other poeple's shows.

No, when you're streaming a show it will not show on your audioscrobbler...it only reads what YOU play, not when you stream what someone else plays, though it may be available in a future version. So, of course what I play on my shows will go into my audioscrobbler data.

How can this system be accurate when it reports Britney Spears in the same breath as Genesis and Yes? Smiley  That's enough to make me run screaming!

Well, that's the only major oddity I've seen so far.  I have to think someone is messing with AudioScrobbler to get that result.  I've been really enjoying it so far.

I have asked for that to be deleted from the database its not supposed to exist actually.  That artist is actually Brittney Spears Greatest Hits.  It supposed to be merged with Brittney Spears and that will illiminate it.  The good news is people that click on similar to Brittney Spears greatest hit will see the genesis link.  NExt thing you know we will have 100's of ex Brittney Spears fans listening to the dlbn lol.

Hi all,

The DLBN group's address has changed to the following:

http://www.audioscrobbler.com/group/The%2BDividing%2BLine%2BBroadcast%2BNetwork

There will soon be a link off the main site so people don't have to remember the long address!

Happy music playing. Smiley

My listening stats updated today and for the first time I got results on the "musical neighbors" portion of my Network.  Rushgrrrl shows up as having 70% similiarity in taste as I do, the 4th highest percentage on my chart.  That's no surprise really.  Wink  (The #1 result was some 16-year-old kid who apparently listens to 78% of the same stuff I do.  LOL)  The Grind shows up at 67% similarity.

Great minds rock alike!

I have a few 67%'s and that's the highest on my musical neighbors. Nobody I know is in my musical neighbors except HarvesterOfBeer is at 56% similar for this go-round.

The new site is up. Slow as shit but looks nice. Lurkie, you're right at the top of my neighbor list. I feel like singing a Mr. Roger's tune (goes good with Shatner I hear  Grin ) Mon40, you're on my list too. Great minds... eh  Cool
