I will have a new tune by Mommy's Little Monster to debut tonight. It will be mostly a request night because that was a lot of fun last week. Some darn good requests came out of it!
On an unrelated note - users of mIRC might be interested in this:
mIRC 6.12 has been released! (October 13th 2003) mIRC v6.12 has been released to address a remote vulnerability found yesterday, capable of crashing your mIRC. The vulnerability affects versions of mIRC from v6.0 onwards, so it is highly recommended that you upgrade to mIRC v6.12. You can do so by downloading the new mIRC from the download page! I just recently started using Trillian as my universal chat program and I will not be using any other. It handles ICQ, MSN, IRC, Yahoo Messenger, just to name a few. It's an impressive application. If you can believe it, it even has support for a Now Playing plugin.
I checked into Trillian about a year ago and it was quite unstable, plus it didn't support VoIP Chat, Shared Desktop, Application Sharing, Whiteboard, Remote Assistance, Webcam, Mobile Device Notification alerts, etc. So it clearly would not replace MSN Messenger, and it didn't support scripting, logging, and macros to the extent that mIRC does. It looked like a nice toy, but didn't suit my needs at all. Has this changed in the mean time?

Yep it supports all sorts of stuff now. The only thing it doesn't support is Voice / App sharing... but since I do that rarely anyways I can just start MSN if I ever need to. Plus I use PCAnywhere for application sharing anyways. Trillian works really well and it's a hell of a way to save memory. I'm running Trillian Pro and it has a lot of nice features.
