Spock's Beard Tour
« on: February 04, 2006, 03:32:29 pm »
Hey you all!

You may have heard Spock's is touring the US this spring.  Here are the dates:

May 4 (Thu) - Poughkeepsie, NY - The Chance Theater
May 5 (Fri) - New York, NY - BB King Blues Club & Grill
May 6 (Sat) - Springfield, VA - Jaxx
May 7 (Sun) - Chicago, IL - House Of Blues
May 8 (Mon) - Denver, CO - Bluebird Theatre
May 9 (Tue) - Seattle, WA - Studio Seven
May 12 (Fri) - W. Hollywood, CA - The Key Club
May 13 (Sat) - Santa Ana, CA - Galaxy Theatre
May 14 (Sun) - Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX - Ridglea Theater

I'm totally psyched to have them coming to my hometown here in Seattle.

Anyone planning on going to the show?  Let me know, it would be great to meet up!

John

That's great Shawn!  I'm in Seattle.  I've been in touch with Dave Meros and offered to help with promotion.  I've been in touch with the venue as well, trying to find out who the local promoter is to coordinate efforts.  But, they have been slow getting back to me.  I really want to do all I can to help pack this show.  Mostly, because I want the guys to come back!

Can you tell me more about how Fransie aranged the show and how to reach him?

Thanks!

I'll make a separate post about the Seattle gig. Needless to say we are stoked to have Spock's Beard come to the Pacific Northwest.

Please help spread the word!

Wow, is it normal in the US to have so many guests? That's almost a festival...
I love that Presto Ballet album, btw.

Almost, the opening bands each play shorter sets (30-40 minutes)  and the whole thing starts at 7 and ends around midnight. Perfectly normal here.
