The European Perspective #142 - Wilf's Best of 2011
« Reply #150 on: January 01, 2012, 08:40:51 AM »

Happy New Year!

As a counterpoint to the results of the listener's poll from the last two shows, in this episode I present a selection from my own favourite albums of 2011. As well as many albums already represented in the Festive Fifty there are a few which didn't feature in the poll, which probably says quite a lot about the perverse nature of my own musical tastes!

Here's to a progtastic 2012, thank you all for listening during 2011, and I'll be keeping you entertained with more quality British and European progressive music throughout the coming year.

Listener's Choice this week, with an excellent, varied selection of music courtesy of Mr. Keith Fleeman. Many thanks for your choices, Ketih, this show was a real pleasure to make!

Keith's brother Al released his lovely instrumental album The Water Is Wide Variations last year, and I've added a track into the show. You can buy Al's record from his website - if you're a fan of ambient and new-age styel music then you'll love it.
