The Dividing Line / Re:"Guilty Pleasures" Says Good-Bye To DLBN

But she has something going for her that Gruno didn't: She's GOOD LOOKING!!!

It seemed we were losing focus, so last month we put it to the DJs that we wanted to try to steer the ship back on course.

As somebody who runs the station, it’s my responsibility to ensure I am doing the best I can to ensure it stays true to its originally intended concept.

…this was over 3 years ago and the station has drastically changed since that time.  We are a river of constant change and what was right for us once might not necessarily be right for us again.

Am I the only one that finds this just a little confusing? Are you trying to go back to what your original vision was, or are you embracing being "the river of constant change"?

Slowly whittling away at the originality in the broadcasting line-up. Now it's just another safe and sterile prog web-radio station. There are 100s of them, and nothing left to make DLBN stand out in that crowd. They used to take chances, and set the bar... now they are firmly planted in the status quo.

We still love you Gruno, and where ever you go, your listeners will follow. There are still places that embrace the original and the unusual (thank God). March to whatever drummer you hear.

The packaging is bare-bones and consists of a slim-line jewel case and a single page insert that contains the CD Title and Track Listing only.

These recordings were made from the mixing board at CalProg. The project is called “The Authorized Bootleg” because the sound quality is closer to a bootleg than to a multi-track pro live recording. The bands have graciously authorized the use of their performances for CalProg fundraising purposes. We strongly advise you to listen to the samples on the website before making a purchase. All proceeds go to CalProg. This is a limited offer.

There are also a limited number of beautiful Souvenir Programs for sale as well. All you need is a credit card or PayPal account.

Thank you for supporting CALPROG!

CalProg has SOLD OUT.

Not like Phil Collins sold out. I mean we won't be doing any cartoon soundtracts with N-Sync or anything. There's just no more tickets left.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support. And not to rub it in or anything, if you aren't making the trip this year when you hear about the cover that IZZ did... well... just make sure you're nowhere near a bridge, cliff or firearm. ;)

Sorry not too many DLBNers are going to make it, but alot of others WILL. There's 3 weeks left and only 20 tickets left for sale. I'm pretty sure we'll sell out this year! It's been a great ride and it'll be a great show!

CalProg artist Spiraling is setting out on a national tour. They feature Tom Brislin (keyboardist for yes on SYMPHONIC tour/DVD) and are just a wonderful power pop group. I'd compare them to Owsley or Jughead. I give a very HIGH recommendation for these guys. Go out and see them if you get a chance!

I have to refute a little bit of pop-culture "folk wisdom" that I keep hearing over and over again.

It's NOT "all good".

OK, carry on.

Premium seats have sold out, but there are still plenty of standard seats available!

Also, Michael Sadler (lead singer of Saga) and friends will be performing an "unplugged" set on the outdoor stage during the dinner break. So much music!
