Promotion / The Bearded's Project - UPDATE October 15th
« on: November 27, 2006, 07:45:22 am »
Okay folks, here's the first "official" statement for a new project we do over at

Some members of The Bearded - the official German fan community of the US rock band Spock's Beard - are currently producing a progressive rock double-CD which will be released in spring 2007. The album's title is The Bearded's Project: HOPE | OMID. (Omid is the Afghan word for hope.)
All the incoming money will be given to a very successful aid organization, the German Aid For Afghan Children ( ). This private organization founded, in cooperation with the population, several so called Peace-Schools in this crisis region. In December 2006, they will receive a renowned award for their excellent work.
Please visit for detailed information.

The songs are available for download (from the 40-minute epic, it's just an excerpt), but not in their finished versions. We're still waiting for songs from Neal and SB, but that dream might not come true, it seems.
But another one did come true: InsideOut agreed to sell it through their site, too. We hope to finish that baby early next year. I'll keep you updated!  8)

It was perfect for my mood!! I had quite a great day and got the chance to listen to a great selection of music while killing a bottle of wine. What more could I expect?

Danke!!  ;D

(I think I need to become a DJ - then I could play my own great music when I feel the need to... ;) ;) )

I'm using Mozilla Firefox and the homepage takes forever to load. Any plans on optimizing it for other browsers than IE?

Obviously, there's no word in English that has the "ch"-sound as in "ich bin besser".

But you can hear how "ich" is pronounced when you click on this link:
The same sound is in "die Küche" (the kitchen):

Globally Banned
This account has been BANNED from the ezboard Network!
Reason: Cross-board spamming

??? What the hell? ??? Cross-board spamming? Banned?
I contacted them, but I don't count on an answer. Oh my. I already heard the same thing from other users, and it sucks big time. Paid for it, did nothing wrong. Fuckers.

I mean, it's almost impossible to find a better user name!    :'( ;)

(Oh, and sorry for the cursing. Needed it...)

Pics from the concert in Frankfurt (24.5.04) can be found here:

There are some more pics with Brad "Duke" Pitt appearing - taken during a signing session on the same day. But I need his permission first.  ;)

Review to follow.

The Dividing Line / So, what time is it in the USA?

The Dividing Line / Help: can't listen to the archives!
« on: February 24, 2004, 02:38:38 am »
I even re-installed RealOne player...
Whenever I click on an archive, it says "connecting", and either nothing happens (even can't close Real player) or the player closes automatically.
Not long ago, all worked fine. May I have changed the settings? If so, what settings do I need?

Yours truly,

the computer geek.

The Dividing Line / Volume level
« on: January 23, 2004, 02:08:43 pm »
Being a computer geek, please allow me a question:
is it possible to broadcast each song (automated feed) on the same volume level? I know that the sound quality of some songs is very different, but maybe there's some program that allows to adjust the level?

The Dividing Line / Playlist?
« on: October 31, 2003, 03:00:39 am »
is it possible to set up a list of the songs that were played recently and of songs that will be played shortly?
I know that feature from other stations and like it a lot.

The Dividing Line / Archives down?
« on: October 27, 2003, 01:13:59 am »
Tried to listen to Jim´s show a few times, but the archives seem to be down.
If so, when will they be accessible again?
