We have put our case out there...some have agreed with us, some choose not to believe it, others choose to dismiss it altogether. The music Gruno played was irrelevant to why his show was cancelled. We knew what he would be playing when he signed on, that was NEVER an issue.
However as a lot of people, including management, have now stated their cases in this forum, we feel this is the appropriate place to make this proposal. There has been an overwhelming response for us to reconsider our decision. So, that's what we did.
The only way any form of relationship between us can work is if we both compromise. We can meet him half way. The question is, is he prepared to make these compromises and does he even want to come back? This is all playing out quite well without him even having to write a single message here himself. I don't know if anyone even knows where he stands. However, if he wants to come back, and we know that you want him to, this is what we can offer:
For Gruno:
A 3 hour show where he is free to say and play whatever he wants. We would like to have a mutual respect with him as we aren't prepared to host someone who will continue to bash us openly or in veiled comments. But other than that, the show is open for him to let his personality out 100%
For Management:
The show would only be available On-Demand. Meaning, you can listen to it whenever you want, but it will never be broadcast openly. This way it ensures that the only people who listen to it are doing so intentionally. Remember, as it stood before you didn't have to go to Gruno's page (where the proposed warning would be) to hear his show. If you have it saved on your winamp you don't have to access the website at all. If he is interested, we would need to ensure his monthly dues are in before the first of each month for the archive to be accessible. Those kinds of details can be worked out after he expresses interest, if any??
