I don't know what happened or what the reasons are for the end of the show, I just wanna thank you, Jim, for introducing me to some of my favorite music (like Kevin Gilbert and Enchant). And I think I could give something back to you, too.

Jim, thank you for your show and your friendship (though we haven't met yet). The hours listening to your show and joining the chat were a great time and now, I'm just sorry I didn't tune in more often. Your EuroMatinee was great, too - especially for us people across the pond. A special thanks for this one!

after hearing hearing dream theater for the first time and finding dt.net papa's show was my first real indepth introduction to the world of prog. i've discovered so much music that wasnt apart of my life and wouldnt be apart of my life now if it wasnt for this show.

thanks papa for the laughs, interviews, stories and most importantly thanks for the music.

(sadly i have a gig sat night and will not be able to attend the show but i would have to the say either the night neal was on or the "prog epic night" were my favorite shows)

I was inspired to quote something I remember from Pulp Fiction, but when I googled it I found an even better one to express how I feel:
Jules: There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass.
From what I witnessed during last night's finale, pops led a lot of people thrugh the valley. We'll miss ya pJ!

I'd like to offer up my most sincere thanks to the DLBN family, of which I consider the listeners to be the most important part. You've all been too kind to me. Last night was a total blast and the turnout was just overwhelming. While I may no longer be the Papa of this family, I hope you'll at least let me be the ugly cousin.
