Hey all,
After exactly 5 years of Behind The Lines live, life has made one of it’s oh so revolutionary evolutions. The other day I learned that I have been chosen to be included in the army in a revolution that has changed the very face of our planet as we know it. This coming week I will hold my torch high as I take up arms against evil digital computer glitches of all shapes and sizes. As a new employee of the city of Vancouver’s tech support division I’ll be doing everything I can to make sure those horrid little critters don’t kill us all in what could surely be a most painful and horrifying cyber-death.
One of the many results in the concussion wave of this new state of being is the fact that due to the hours of this new job, I won’t be able to continue Behind The Lines live any longer. DOH! But worry not, I’ll be crossing over into the land of pre-recorded archive bliss, so all those who have come to rely on their weekly Behind The Lines fix will not find your supply of musical joy in jeopardy. As for those who love the live music, you have not been forgotten! After over 2 months of having to pre-record his show, Alistair Henry will be temporarily taking over my Tuesday night live slot and will be bringing you Momentary Dementia Live (from 8pm to 10pm pacific time)! So get those requests ready and be sure to check it out. This will be the first time Alistair has been able to do his show live during a decent slot so get ready for the unexpected and the weird (cause it wouldn’t be Momentary Dementia without the weirdness).
This coming Tuesday night will be my final live show for the foreseeable future so I look forward to saying goodbye and thanks to all the regulars who have made all my Tuesdays so enjoyable over the last while. Figures, just when I get comfortable with a decent time slot I have to leave it, doh! I hope many of you will still join me for Behind The Lines in archive form.
Hope to catch everyone one last time this Tuesday,
Shawn
