Hello everyone!!  After an unplanned 4 month hiatus Behind The Lines has returned with a bang!!  This is the audio chronicle of the voyage to Seattle to witness the second leg of Porcupine Tree's Deadwing tour!  The show follows our voyage in full audio glory thanks to the marvels of my iRiver H340 portable mp3 recorder. During this trip I had the chance to sit down with Steven Wilson and talk to him about all sorts of interesting things under the sun.  Tune in to hear the latest on the catastrophic demise of the the Lava record label leaving PT hanging in the winds of purgatory, fascinating insights into the Deadwing album, as well as new information on some exciting projects on the horizon for Steven Wilson, plus much more!

I listened to the archive yesterday and it sure was great to relive the Porcupine Tree trip to Seattle! Shawn did a great job, and his mp3 recorder was a wonderful tool to have with us to capture those moments from drive down, the Steven Wilson interview, talking to the fans outside the theater before and after the concert, and our final thoughts as we hit the road back home.  Nice mix of PT music too.  BTL returns with a bang!

Yeah I thought that mic did a pretty decent job although there was a bit of distortion here and there when we spoke too closely into it... but that's just a minor tweak when recording that I'll keep in mind for next time.  It's kindof neat to have that archive of the trip so we can relive it!  I'd also be curious to know what others think of the interview etc.
