An emotional show tonight, I told the story of my dear cousin who took her life recently.  The sadness in our family is great, but we are pulling together to support the ones left behind.  Listen for songs in tribute to my beautiful Beth, I will miss you darlin’.

Back from Rushcon 6!  I must have brought the ridiculously hot weather back with me from Toronto because it was 106 here in Portland this week!  Ugh.  Well here at Underdog Prog, even if the weather is hot, the music is always COOL.  Listen to Sonic Playground, born out of the amazing tribute band from Florida, Toronto Airport.  We got our socks rocked OFF in Toronto by these guys last weekend!  Brand new Muse, new tracks from Sacramento band Washington Tremble, and new solo Thom Yorke!

What a busy summer it’s been…  So happy to have my first show from the new studio!  Our move went well, with a lot of help from my friends  You guys rock, you know who you are!  Starting to feel settled, unpacking more each day.  Listen for an extended Underdog Prog as Vince and Daisy were unable to be here for Prog’opolis (we missed you guys!!!) so we have a 5 ½ hour archive!
 
All the more room for requests, and as you can see, the listeners ran the show for quite awhile.  Played a few new bands too, a great surprise is Paine’s Promise, a very talented trio from Georgia.  I got their cd Mobius a week or 2 ago and just now had some time to really listen.  I know you’ll dig them just like I do. Atomic Odyssey from SoCal sent me a great cd too called Behold, it totally rocks.  Both bands seem to be huge Rush fans, hehe.
 
So get ready for over 5 hours of some of the best progressive music out there.  Only on the Dividing Line!
